DEFENCE SECRETS
AN AUSTRALIAN BILL
(Received September 19, 12.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Minister of Defence, Mr. H. V. 'c. Thorby, stated that a Defence I Secrets Bill would be introduced in the Federal Parliament which would impose heavy penalties for the publication of secret defence .information by newspapers, broadcasting ..stations, or through any other medium.
