INSTITUTE OLD BOYS
The annual meeting of the Institute Old Boys' Cricket Club, held at the Boys' Institute, was one of the best oh record, there being a very large attendance. Mr. W. A. Parton, who presided, congratulated the club upon its successful season, in which a new record had been established by it' in the winning of the club championship. ' It was indicated at the meeting that the club would be Welding something like twelve teams in the W.C.A. competitions in the coming season. . The election of officers resulted:—
Patron, Mr. L. T. Watkins; president, Mr. W. A. Parton; vice-presidents, the same as last year with addition of Mr. S. Coupland; secretary, Mr. J. R. Perston; treasurer, Mr. C. Owen; auditor, Mr. P. S. Stevens; management committee, Messrs. J. Scott, B. Buchan, A. McLean, R. McLean, A. Lang, M. Bilby, L. Calvert, and N. Griffiths; club captain, Mr. R. Buchan; delegates to Wellington Cricket Association, Messrs. L. Brabin, M. Bilby, J. D. Howitt, and B. Mabin.
