AIR SCHOLARSHIP

The New Zealand Aircraft Club, which was formed recently in Wellington and, now has 400 members in different parts of New Zealand, has awarded a further scholarship, providing flying instruction to the value of £40 and two years' coaching at {he Aeronautical Engineering College. The winner is Mr. A. Hinton, Wellington. The sum of £40 has already been 'paid to the Wellington Aero Club for Mr. Hinton's tuition and £12 has been received by the Aeronautical College for a similar purpose. A further scholarship will be allotted to one of the club's members within a few days. The Aircraft Club is comprised of young men who, by becoming members, devote a portion of their spare time to taking a course in aeronautics. Members in Wellington also have the opportunity of receiving instruction in practical aircraft work. The scholarships are awarded periodically, according to the number of members. ,
