FIRE TRAGEDY
THREE CHILDREN BURNED TO
DEATH
SYDNEY, July 10. During the absence of/ their parents at a neighbour's house, (three children, Shirley Croke, aged nfine, Winifred Croke, aged seven, and! David Croke, aged five, were burned, to death in a wooden hut 19 miles frjom Camden last night. The parents and theftwo elder daughters were playing cabfls with neighbours when the fire occurred, but were unable to rescue the children owing to the flames having obtained too great a hold.
