"BLUE ROSES"
A DANCE PLAY
Something original is promised in the dance-play, "Blue" Roses," which v/ill be presented by pupils of the Joane Raine School of Dancing, in the Concert Chamber, on July 21.
The frocking is to be very handsome, cloths of silver and gold, silks, satins, and taffetas being used for Titania, and a - number of princesses and their suitors, and ladies of the court. There will also be a "wicked witch," a kindly fairy changeling, and the witches' cat, all: suitably attired. The dancing will be very varied, from the classical ballet to- the graceful minuet. ■:
The settings will be both beautiful and interesting, and the ballerinas include many who are welL known for their charming and graceful expositions of the dance. ■
