A GENEROUS GIFT
MASTERTON Y.M.C.A.
(Special to the "Evening Post.") MASTERTON, This Day.
A Masterton resident has offered a donation of £ 100 to the Y;M.C.A., conditional 'on the association raising a further £200 by the end of this month, to enable the recent additions to the associatiqn's building to be completed. The* donor desires to remain anonymous.
This particularly generous offer has been gratefully accepted by the Y.M.C.A. board of directors, who invite further donations to enable the gift to become effective. <
The accommodation of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. building, not including the gymnasium, has been almost doubled by the addition of a fine new hall and the rearrangement of the kitchen and office facilities. Men's and ladies' dressing rbdms and showers have been provided, besides many other necessary improvements. The whole scheme, when finished, will give excellent facilities for the association's work in catering for the youth of the community. •
