STATE HOUSING
TENDERS APPROVED
Cabinet has approved tenders for the erection of 99 more State houses in various parts of the Dominion, and has also approved the purchase of sufficient land to build another 156 homes in different places., In Wellington the Fletcher Construction Co. has been granted a con-1 tract for ten houses at Lower Hutt, and Messrs. McLaughlan and Lane' one for two houses in the same locality. ; ■ ■ .. An area in Ranui Terrace, Khandallah, sufficient for two houses, has been acquired.
