The House of Representatives met at 10.30 a.m. today. ■
Mr; W. A. Bodkin (National, Central Otago) gave notice to ask the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. /M. J. Savage) if he was aware that a plebiscite was being taken amongst the members of industrial unions on the proposed- superannuation scheme, and i£ it was intended to take a plebiscite to ascertain the views of farmers; business men, and others who were not members of industrial unions; if not, why not? "I have a copy of a questionnaire issued by a Labour secretary inDunedin addressed to the members of ah industrial union asking for views and' .recommendations in respect to the proposed superannuation and health scheme," Mr. Bodkin added.
The Paritutu Centennial Park Bill CMx.S. G. Smith) was introduced, read a first time, and referred to the Local Bills Committee.
