CAUSED BY LIGHTNING
MINE EXPLOSION
THREE WORKERS KILLED
(Received July 7, 10,15 a.m.) VANCOUVER, July 6. An explosion caused by lightning igniting gases 9300 feet underground in a mountain coalmine at Michel, British Columbia^ killed three miners. Fourteen men were rescued three hours after they were entombed.
