SPEECH BY Mfl. JORDAN
LONDON, July 6. Mr. W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner in London, vigorously replied to critics of New Zealand's social legislation at a meeting of the British Empire League today. He emphasised that the Government was safeguarding both the investors and the mass of the people of the Dominion and was both determined and able to meet its obligations in full.
