FLYGER CUP CHALLENGE

The committee decided that the Nada-Onslow First B Division game of last Saturday, which was abandoned by the referee ten minutes from time after an Onsjow player had been ordered off for questioning his decision, should be replayed at the end of the season if necessary, no points to be awarded meantime. Nada were leading 5-3 when the game was abandoned. The player who refused to leave the field when ordered to do so appeared before the committee and was suspended until the end of the 1939 season. It was decided to challenge Auckland for the Flyger Rosebowl, which is played for by junior representatives. It is hoped to play the game at Auckland on Jtily 30 as a curtain-raiser to the North Island Chatham Cup final.
