MOTION PICTURE WASTE.
George McGonigle, property man with RKO-Radio's "Everybody's Doing It," is canny. A spasm of pain passes over his otherwise placid countenance when the thinks there is any waste. n Such as recently, when' the script called for a table-full of. dishes to be thrown out the window. The act was repeated four or five times before Director Chr'sty Cabanne decided Sally Eilers had done it'properly. Each time the dishes crashed,' McGonigle looked hurt. ' • Eventually the'" sequence was completed. -The-property man,-picking up the pieces, was heard to moan, "We better shoot it again; we've got „ two plates left."
