"ROB ROY" TO BE FILMED.

At last the legendary story of the adventures of Rob Roy McGregor, the dashing Scottish counterpart of Robin Hood, is to be turned into a film by Gainsborough Pictures for G.B.D. release and it is to be in technicolor. This announcement was made this week when Edward Black, the film producer, gave out* that the picture will be a special vehicle for the new romance-team, Michael Redgrave and Margaret Lockwood. Redgrave will play the name part with Margaret Lockwood in the role of Helen. Will Fyffe, the well-known Scots comedian, will also share star-billing in "Rob Roy." His part will be that of Redgrave's father. Production is to commence in the middle of June, when a full studio . unit was to travel to the Trossachs country to capture authentic local scenery and colour. The district surrounding Loch Lomond will be extensively photographed.
