EASY WIN IN SOUTH

ASHBURTON,, July 5. The Ashburton men's hockey team was overwhelmed by the Indian team by 15 goals to nil in a fast match today. The weather was brigh\ but cold and the.- ground heavy. There was a large attendance. •
Scorers for India were Ahmed Khan (6), Abdul Latif (4), Shahnoor Khan (4), and Fernandez.
• The match was watched by the English women's team, which came from Christchurch in a special bus. The meeting of two international hockey teams was unusual, and the members were photographed together.
