SHIPPING FOR LONDON.
During one week (ended June 3 last) 955 vessels representing 1,089,363 net register tons, used the Port of London. Of these 526 vessels (896,827 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 429 vessels (192,536 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included twelve meat cargoes, viz.: five from Australia, four from New Zealand, and three from,, South America, comprising 344,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, 114,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits, and sundries. Ten timber-laden vessels docked with 20,000 tons of softwood.
