,v . Two members are required to represent the Wellington Urban Area, and there are five candidates offering their services. Two of these are sitting members, Mr. J. .T. Clark and, Mr. L. J. McDonald, the other ' three being Messrs. C. P. S. Boyer, 'A. H. Carman, and G. B. Stephenson. The Wairarapa Ward of the Rural Area is at present represented by ; :'-Colond T. W. McDonald. He is seek- ' liig re-election and has Mr. J. M. ;i ;Nicliolls aS an opponent, there being one vacancy to fill. There will be an election in the Hutt-Horowhenua Ward of. the Rural Area also. For the one vacancy Mr. P. Robertson, the : sitting member, is a candidate, as is also Mr. W. J. T. ■ Wigg. ' The present chairman of the board, Mr. W. V. Dyer',, is fe-elected unopposed for the Hutt-Petone ' Urban Area, as are also Mr. W, R, Nicol •(Masterton Urban Area) and Mr. H. Duckworth (Marlborough Ward of the Rural Area).
