Irrespective of the hour of starting work, all workers are to have time toff between 11.45 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. «ach day, except on race days. v Wages were fixed as follows:—Head 3ad, up to six horses, £2 ss; seven to nine horses, £2 10s; \ over nine horses* £2 15s; workers, 21 years and over, £110s; workers not apprentices, 18 to ! £1 ss. Approved accommodation is to be provided. The wages plauses affecting apprentices will not apply to those at present undef agreement with the Racing Conference, but after the ' 'award comes into, operation all apprentices will become members of the union. The wages for apprentices were fixed as follows:—7s 6d during a six months* probationary period, then. 7s 6d for the first year of apprenticeship, 15s for the second,'year/and £1 for the third and fourth years/ '
