MURDER FOR MONEY
BANDITS' CRIME IN TIENTSIN (Received June 28, 12.50 p.m.) TIENTSIN, June 27. Two bandits whose principals offered them £750 reward murdered Mr. T. L. Chao, a Chinese headmaster of the British municipal school, who was educated in America. His bodyguard wounded and captured the assailants, who are concealing the identity of the instigators.
