HIGHLAND FLING TITLE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ROTORUA, This Day. The South Auckland provincial Highland fling championship was de cided at the national dancing competitions at the Rotorua Winter Show on Saturday evening. The title was won by Miss Kathleen Walton (Christchurch). There were 16 competitors.
The placings were: Kathleen Walton (Christchurch) 93 points, June Scott (Palmerston North) 90 points, D. Bothwell (Hamilton) 89 points. Highly commended: Anita Copeland (Auckland), and D. Sorensen (Hamilton), 87 points. The judge was Mr. H. Macdonald, Auckland.
