AUSTRALIA V. NEW ZEALAND
... The, Bledisloe Cup, at present held by New Zealand, will be at stake on the New Zealand team's tour: of Australia this season. The cup, which was presented by Lord Bledisloe, former Governor-General of New Zealand, was first competed for in 1931 at Auckland and was won by New Zealand. Australia have won the cup only once, in 1934, on the New Zealand team's visit to Australia. Altogether 25 matches have been played between Australia and New Zealand, the first in 1903 at Sydney. New Zealand have won 16 of the Tests, Australia seven, and .two have been drawn. Retails of the matches played between New: Zealand and Australia are as follows:—
There are to be three Tests on this season's tour, the first at Sydney on July 23, the second at Brisbane on August 6, and the third at Sydney on August 13.
