FIXTURES ARRANGED

The following senior fixtures for Saturday, week were decided upon at a meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union last night:—

Senior A, first division.—Poneke v. Eastbourne, Eastbourne; Petone v. St. Patrick's College Old Boys, Petone; Wellington v. Johnsonville, Johnsonville; Athletic v. Marist, Athletic Park; Hutt v. Wellington College Old Boys, Hutt.

Senior A, second division.—Pirates v. Oriental; Miramar v. Athletic; Marist v. University; Wellington v. Onslow; grounds to be arranged.

Senior B.—University v. Wellington College Old Boys; Hutt v. Welilngton; Hutt (Army) v. Poneke; Petone a bye; grounds to be arranged. July 20 was decided upon as the date for the Wellington versus Wairarapa match, to be played at Wellington.

Transfers were granted H. C. Parker, from Poneke to Petone, and D. Auld, from Lower Hutt to Upper Hutt.

It was decided that a trial game between Senior B and Senior A, second division, players should be played as the early game at Athletic Park on July 9. The chairman, Mr. J. N. Millard, remarked that it would give the players a chance to be seen in action before the Wellington team was selected to play Wairarapa.
