MR. NASH AT NEW PLYMOUTH

NEW PLYMOUTH, June 21. The Minister; of Finance (the Hon. W. ; Nash), who "officially opened the New Plymouth Winter Show tonight and will make a statement on the disposal of the surplus in the Dairy Industry Account at the National Dairy Association's conference .tomorrow, was given a civic welcome when he arrived at New Plymouth. The Minister received several deputations. The big hall at the Winter Show was crowded when the Minister opened the exhibition. He referred to the interdependence of town and country and the value of shows in giving them the opportunity of meeting. The Minister was given a warm reception by the crowd.
