An Intense anticyclone covers eastern Australia and the western Tasman Sea. The weather has been changeable In eastern and far northern district*, but for the most part cloudy to overcast. Bain has fallen in most districts, though few heavy totals are reported. There have been some hallstorms also. Temperatures were moderate to mild yesterday, but faUlne this morning.
