MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Giovanni Calvini, a labourer, aged 54, who appeared in the Magistrate's Court today, before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., charged with using indecent language, was convicted and fined £2, in default seven days' imprisonment. On a charge of drunkenness he was' convicted and fined 10s. •
William Thomas Richardson, a wharf labourer, aged 47, was convicted and fined £1, in default seven days' imprisonment, for a third statutory offence of drunkenness.
I Eric William Hammond, a porter, [aged 22, who was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 16, was remanded to appear at Napier on Thursday.
