FUNERAL SERVICE
LATE MRS. E. C. RIDDIFORD
The funeral of the late Mrs. E. C. Riddiford took place in St. James's Churchyard yesterday afternoon, the services in the church and at the graveside being conducted by the Rev. H. E. K. Fry, who was assisted by the Rev. Archdeacon A. L. Hansell.
A very large congregation assembled in St. James's Church, many having to stand. The congregation joined in the reading of the psalm, the prayers, and the hymn, "Abide With Me."
The pallbearers were Mr. John Riddiford, Mr. Tony Riddiford, Mr. J. E. F. Vogel, Mr. H. R. Cooper (Palmerston North), Mr. Dudley Kettle (Napier), and Mr. G. George.
Among the mourners, were Mr. Daniel Riddiford, Mr. Eric Riddiford, Mrs. J. E. F. Vogel, Mrs. Dudley Kettle, Mrs. Morvyn Williams, Miss Riddiford, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Bunny, Mr. O. Bunny, Mr. L. Bunny, and Misses A. P. and J. Bunny, and Mr. P. B. Broad.

The floral offerings covered a large space on the lawn in front of the church.
