The report of the Tauranga Citrus Association stated that for the year ended March 31, 1938, the output of lemons was 25,491 packed cases, and of grapefruit and marmalade oranges 3671 cases. There was also a substantial output of candied peel, sliced peel, cordial lemon pulp, and peel in brine. The financial year of the majority of dairy factory companies in the Auck-| land Province closed on May 31. The year, generally, has been very satisI factory from a production point of ! view.
