CONTRACT BRIDGE

As the result of tournaments held at the Wellington Bridge Club during May, Mrs. Hutchison is still at the top of the individual ladder, with Dr. Hutchison second and Mrs. Rawson third. This tournament is played fortnightly and the winners for May 10 were Mrs. Emanuel and Mr. Mo Dermont (N.-S.) and Mrs. Forster and Mrs. McKay (E.-W.); and for May 24, Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson (N.-S.) and Dr. and Mrs. Hutchison (E.-W.).

Goblets were won at recreation evenings as 'follows:—May 17, Mrs. and Miss Bilton (N.-S.) and Mr. Rainey and Dr. Hutchison (E.-W.); May 31, Mrs. Young and Miss Chapman (N.-S.) and Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson (E.-W.).
