JOHNSONVILLE ELECTION

A petition claiming that the returning officer allowed declaration votes which he should not have allowed and that Mr. H. D. Morgan was wrongly excluded from the list pf successful candidates, has been lodged in the Magistrate's Court at Wellington, asking for a Magisterial inquiry into the election of the Johnsonville Town Board. Mr. Morgan was at the head of the list of unsuccessful candidates, and had one vote less than Mr. H. E. H. Green, who was announced as elected. Other candidates may also be affected. '
