The Italian Fascist Government, desirous that roadside advertising signs do not impair Italy's scenic has decreed that all such signs be green. White letters may be used. It is felt that green signs blend with the verdure of the countryside. Signs in other colours must be repainted or removed. The Duke of Kent has received a reward of £4 for finding a valuable cigarette case during an outing on the jkiing slopes near St. Anton. He re;urned the case to the police station md the reward was paid by the Swiss jwner. The Duke gave the money to j '-<» poor of St. Anton.
