BUSHMAN KILLED
PINNED BY ROLLING LOO A single man, Mark Agate, aged 26, an employee of Messrs. King and Spiers' sawmill at Raurimu, met with a fatal accident in the bush, states the "New Zealand Herald" of today. Mr. Agate was working at the skids when it is thought that the vibration of a hauler loosened the chock and a log rolled, pinning him face down on the ground. He was severely injured about the lower part of the body and one leg, and died half-way to Raurimu when being conveyed from the bush.
