The New Zealand Shipping Company has placed an order for a twinscrew cargo and passenger motor-ship of 14,000 tons, with a speed ,of 17 knots, with Messrs. John Brown and Go, at Clydebank. . This is the fifth order, aggregating 70,000 tons, for the Australian and New Zealand trade in recent months.
