INJURIES' FATAL
N.Z. AIRMAN WHO CRASHED

LONDON, April 29.
The death has occurred of Colin Byers, one of the two New Zealanders who were admitted to hospital after their aeroplane crashed in Surrey.
Mr. Byers, who received facial injuries, was trapped in the cabin. He warned the rescuers of the danger of the petrol tank catching fire. His companion, Mr. Ernest Ratcliffe, received a broken thigh. He besought the rescuers to get his friend out first.
