LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
POINTS WELL THRASHED
INTEREST BUILDING UP
It is rather remarkable how little that is new has been brought; out by speeches of the majority of candidates for the local.body elections during.the last few nights, but possibly that is because the big guns are held in reserve. The hospital is receiving a great deal of attention and the City Engineer's report is much quoted by members of both tickets when they discuss housing. The introduction of politics into municipal affairs is a third chief source of ammunition.
