Racing next week at Egmont on Thursday and Saturday, at Amberley and Franklin on Saturday, and at Nelson on Saturday and the iollowing Monday. . Tauramai, if he stands up to his latest preparation, will race next in the colours of the Riverton trainer G. McLean, who has taken him on a three years' lease. . According to a Riccarton report Lisnacree is to be turned out and, may not race again. Her recent breakdown was caused by suspensory ligament trouble and she has been in a bad way since. ~ High Speed will be given another trial over country and is now one of A McMullan's team at Riccarton. Hunting Go has again.appeared on the Jnvercargill course. Last winter he was regarded as one of the most promising 'chasers in training. The French-bred horse Genetout, Who failed in the Sydney Cup recently, will probably not be raced again. It is intended to let him spell before taking up stud duties at Widden Stud next season. With two wins I (including the Warwick Farm Autumn Cup) and a dead heat from five starts this autumn, Genetout has proved himself a horse of class up to a mile and a half, and he should be a valuable addition.to the stallions at Widden, in which two of his three joint owners have a large interest. I Four imported sires were represented at the Sydney sales for the first time, this year, Andrea, Medieval Knight, Harinero, and Madagascar, and, although the progeny of each sold well, 'the results were not as good as generally anticipated. Next to the 900 i guineas paid for a Madagascar colt, there was .a. 700 guineas Medieval Knight colt. The Medieval Knights secured an average of 327| guineas for fourteen yearlings. Harinero's average was 326J, for six yearlings; Madagascar's 289 1-5 guineas for thirteen yearlings; and Andrea's 458 1-3 guineas for three yearlings.
