"AN ELF GOES TRAVELLING"
I y -—•* —" .. . ...-. :■ "I am sitting here, oh. the boat-deck of the Strathaird, in as small a corner as I can find, and I'll be just.a bewildered bundle by the time I come back to you all. Sydney Harbour is such a very large piece of water! All around are ships—steamers, ferries, cargo boats,' tugs, rowing-boats, liners, cruisers, and battleships. So many different sorts of people, too: Italians, Greeks, Hindus, Chinamen, and Portuguese. The islands around are lovely —very green against the water; and all with their lighthouses, buoys; jetties, and fortresses." • "SWASTIKA." (On the Strathaird).
