For a second offence of drunkenness, Bill Rose, alias George David Rose, a labourer, aged 24, was fined 10s, in default three days' imprisonment, in the Magistrate's Court today. He was fined £1, in default seven days' imprisonment, for using obscene language in a public place. Two lorries, one belonging to .the Wellington Gas Company and one to Messrs. Marris and Campbell, Ltd., cartage contractors", collided at the corner of Stone Street, Miramar, at about 4 p.m. yesterday. No one was injured, although both vehicles wera damaged.
