TITAHI BAY CLUB
Following are the results of competitions played over the weekend at the Titahi Bay Golf Club:— _ On Saturday morning a single bogey was won by L. Spiller with 3 up. Spiller's card, 85, 20-65, was the best nut in during the weekend. Owing to heavy rain on Saturday afternoon the April medal had to be postponed. . , , On Sunday morning m a stableford bogey C. H. Gyles and S. Cnchton tied tor first place with 33 points and H. C Boon, jun., was third with 31 points. A fourball bogey in the afternoon was won by Boon and Macduff, 6 up. Whitehead and Smith, 4 up, were second and Spiller and Norman, 1 down, WOn Monday morning a bogey competition was won by M Hedstrom, 3 down, with E. Sinclair, 5 down, second. The fourball stableford bogey played in the afternoon was won by tieastrom and Spiller, 40 points, with Gyles and Smith, 33 points, second. A number of trial matches for the Watt and Banish Cup teams resulted as follows:—Boon, jun., beat Cnchton; Macduff beat Smith; Smith beat Watkinson; Macduff beat Whitehead; Watkinson beat Macduff; Whitehead beat Smith; Anderson beat Watkinson; Rout and Whitehead, all square; Anderson and Smith, all square.
