VICTORIA HOSPITAL
ENJOYABLE CONCERT -,'
L pleasant evening was spent iri the women's ward, Victoria Hospital, recently, when a most enjoyable concert organised by Mrs. Clark was given by the members of the Central branch of the Women's League. The members of the party were received by Sister Rolfes and the'riurses. The ward looked very bright, being decorated with pot plants and-vases-of flowers of almost every hue.
Some clever dancing--Was; displayed and a number of interesting items were presented. Items were provided by Mr. and Mrs. Allright, S. Codale, Joan, Jean, and J. Martin, Joyce Moody, Lawrence Constable, Doreen McGinity, and "Sailor Boys." Some clever dancing was performed by the pupils of Miss M. Oates, who wore pretty spangled frocks of all shades.
The concert was thoroughly enjoyed by the patients, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Sister Rolfes. Special thanks were given to, Mrs,. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Allright-, who journeyed down from "HaWera.
