MISHAP TO LORRY
CRASH THROUGH BRIDGE

TAURANGA, This Day,
This morning one of Henderson Bros, timber lorries, with a load of timber, went through Beacon Creek Bridge, at the foot of the Kaimai into the creek. The Matamata-Tauranga service car was blocked, but goods and passengers were transported across the stream to another car and brought to Tauranga. The road is blocked to all- traffic. It will take some time to repair the bridge. _^_____
