TERRIBLE INJURY
WORKER AT FACTORY
RIGHT ARM WRENCHED OFF

RUATORIA, This Day.
Dinah Beach, aged 24, a half-caste employee of the Ngatiporou Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, of Euatoria, had his right hand caught between the belt and the pulley on the main driving shaft at the factory this morning, his arm being wrenched off. The injured man is a son of Mr. Harry Beach, butcher, of Ruatoria, and was a prominent local footballer. He had been employed at the factory for about four years. After receiving firstaid treatment, Beach was rushed twenty miles to the Te Puia Springs Hospital. He is a married man with one child.
