BAND RECITALS,
Owing to the indisposition of the conductor of the Wanganui Garrison Band, Mr. R. Francis, the display which was to have been presented at the Basin Reserve tomorrow in conjunction with the Port Nicholson Silver Band has been cancelled. In order to keep faith with the many patrons who may have made arrangements- to be present at the Basin Reserve, the Port Nicholson Band will present a programme of popular numbers, commencing at 3 p.m. The Regimental Pipe Band will play at the Kilbirnie Recreation Ground tomorrow afternoon, commencing at 3 ■ o'clock.
