PLEASANT PARTY
A happy dinner party was given by Mr. and Mrs. Shackelford, of Kilbirnie, recently, to entertain a number of their friends.
After dinner the guests adjourned to the local cinema, returning again to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shackelford, where musical items and a savoury supper were provided.
Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Power, sen., Mr." and Mrs. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Peacock, Mr. and Mrs. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Batchelor, Mrs. Greaves, Mrs. Moss, Mrs. Miedema and her son Arnold, Miss J. Talbot, Miss Shackelford, and Mr. Cunningham, .
