(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 8, 1 p.m.)'
LONDON, April 7. General Franco's forces have taken" Tremp, 40 miles north of Lerida, where the power station supplying Barcelona with electricity is situated.
A message from Barcelona states that several members of Cabinet are advocating tlie transference of the Government to the south of Spain.
Saragossa reports that the insurgent troops, advancing in the valleys of Upper Aragon, captured Balaguer, 15 miles north-east of Lerida, and thus seized control of the power lines which mainly supply industry in Barcelona from the hydro-electric station at Capdella.
The insurgents thereafter continued towards the Pyrenees. Another column scattered the defenders within three miles of Tremp. Nationalists from Morella pressed the advance to within one mile of Tortosa.
