PRESENTED TO MUSEUM
BELIEVED CENTURIES OLD

Believed to be centuries old, a Maori carved figure standing nearly six feet high has been presented to 'the Wanganui Museum by Mi\ Fred Cunningham, who found it embedded in the ground on property recently acquired' by him near Tokaanu. Authorities consider it the most valuable acquisition for years to the ethnological section. ,
