N.Z. ASSOCIATION
SUCCESSFUL DANCE
The New Zealanders' Association held a successful dance in the Jewish Ladies' Club, Cuba Street. There was a fair attendance and an enjoyable evening was spent. Elocutionary items were given by Miss Roma Bitossi and vocal items by Mrs. R. Tracy and Mrs. Fiebig for whom Miss Bennett was the accompanist. Music for the dancing was played by Mrs. Robb. Among those present were:—Mr. and Mrs. C. Mclntyre, Mr. and Mrs. H. Peach, Mr. and Mrs. T. Tracy, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mulcahy, Mr. and Mrs. Fiebig, Mr. and Mrs. P. Mudgway, Mesdames Burnett, Hennah, Bentley, R. Tracy, Elliott, Brace, Williams, Cowan, Tucker, Whale; Misses R. Bitossi, MacFarlane, Bennett (2), Shearer, Hatch, Webb, M. Bond, H. London; and Messrs. Johns, Griffiths, Blockley, Williams, Harris, Judd.
Never wear a pair of silk stockings more than one day. Wash out each evening after taking off. It is the acid from the skin which rots the fine silken threads, and little bits of gritty dust will cut' into the fine mesh and weaken it. ..
