LEAVING TOMORROW

L. 0. THOMAS FOR ADDINGTON

L. O. Thomas, who has been situated at Hutt Park for the past decade or more, has completed arrangements for the transferring of his team to Christchurch, and he-will leave tomorrow to take up his residence in the south. It has taken, him some little time to finalise stabling accommodation, but he has now-secured a private' track only a short distance from the Addington track. In recent years there has been no better-known trainer in Wellington than Thomas, and everybody will be sorry to see him sever his connection with this city.

Thomas is at present superintending the training of nine horses, and this will be the number he is taking south. They are Bonny' Azure, Glenrossie, Diversion, Trevor de Oro, ptaua, Ideal, Sewana, Lord Wrack, and an unnamed gelding by Worthy Bingen. Ha won several races last- season with Bonny Azure, and, altogether, this mare collected stake-money to the value of £1600. . ■.■■•....'.'.
