ALEXANDER MINES.
Alexander Mines gold returns for last March were as follows:—Battery Department, 288 tons of ore crushed for 158oz of melted gold; cyanide department, 210 tons of sands treated for 51oz lOdwt of bullionj.-rotal estimated value, £1383. In addition 7.58 tons of concentrates were saved valued at. £217. In estimating the above values, gold has been tafcen- at 14ps per fine oz.
