DISTRIBUTION IN EMERGENCY,

The "Daily Telegraph" states thav Great Britain, according to a high authority, is now far.ahead of anjr other country in.the production and planned distribution of gas masks, of which 30,000,000 are available, including a special device for babies. The production' of masks is continuing at the rate of half a million a week. The respirators will not,be issued .to householders until an emergencyarises, because suitable storage H essential. ' • ', ~, The ; Home Office; has circulated plans; to local authorities for distributing a gas mask to everybody in eight hours. Air raid wardens will make a house, to house canvass to ascertain the number and the sizes required. , . .■ ;
