DEPARTURE PENDING
REAR-ADMIRAL DRUMMOND
The name of the successor to Rear-* Admiral the Hon. E. R. Drumrhond, Commodore of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy, and first member of the Naval Board, whose term of service expires very shortly, will be announced within-the next, week or two. ' ' ' "
The Minister of Defence (the Hon. F Jones) said today that the position had not been definitely determined, and that he was not in a position at the moment to make the announcement. "Very probably it,will be made in the next week or so," he added. Rear-Admiral Drummond's term of three years expires this month, and it is expected that he will depart for England in June.
