(/. OVERWHELMING VOTE

SYDNEY, This Day.
The German Consul-General, Dr. Asmiss, stated that 250 Germans and 24 Austrians v,oted on board the* German steamer Neckar outside the threemile limit yesterday in the plebiscite for Austro-Germanj union. The votes were counted separately, and showed that 248 Germans voted in the affirmative, with the Austrians returning a unanimous vote in favour of union.
